10 YEARS OF YOUTH DEVELOPMENT THROUGH

SINGAPORE ATTACHMENT PROGRAM

DHS Hospitality Academy launched the Singapore Attachment Program in 2016 at Sin Min Chinese Private School, Alor Setar, through a strategic partnership with Northern Haward Academy. The program was designed to provide Malaysian youth with the opportunity to undergo a six-month industry attachment in Singapore, with the objective of supporting long-term careers in the hospitality industry.

Over the years, the program has benefited more than 3,900 participants and has continuously evolved to meet the changing demands of both the hospitality industry and youth workforce expectations. Certification is awarded through the respective learning centers of Malaysian public universities.

In 2025, DHS officially renamed the program to DHS – Singapore Attachment Program following incidents where former associates misused the program name and engaged in fraudulent practices. The strategic industry partner for the program since its inception in 2016 is SG Quest Singapore.
