DHS Hospitality Academy’s Flagship Initiative

Since its launch on 1st June 2016, the Singapore Attachment Program—DHS Hospitality Academy’s premier initiative—has empowered over 3,000 youths with practical skills for successful careers in hospitality. This hands-on, industry-driven program is conducted in partnership with SG Quest Pte Ltd, a Ministry of Manpower (MOM)-registered agency in Singapore. SG Quest Pte Ltd ensures full support for participants—from arrival to completion of their 6-month attachment—providing professional guidance, counseling, and holistic well-being throughout their stay. Focused on the Food Service Industry, a critical sector within hospitality, the program equips trainees with job-ready expertise for immediate employment. DHS and SG Quest serve as strategic partners, delivering a structured pathway to career success in Singapore’s dynamic hospitality landscape

Program Pathways

Choose Your Specialization:
1. Certificate in Hospitality Operations
2. Certificate in Food Service Operations

Both programs combine:
- 1 month intensive training in Malaysia
- 6 months paid work attachment in Singapore

Program Structure

PHASE 1: PROFESSIONAL TRAINING (Malaysia)
1. Master F&B service fundamentals
2. Develop customer service excellence
3. Learn essential financial literacy
4. Build digital marketing capabilities

PHASE 2: PAID INTERNATIONAL ATTACHMENT (Singapore)
1. Earn SGD 1,100/month + SGD 500 housing allowance
2. Train across multiple stations in premium establishments
3. Receive monthly career mentoring
4. Opportunity for overtime earnings
5. Duty Meal
